Guiding Lights is a psychological horror-maze game, where you must follow the light to avoid the darkness.
How much discomfort can you go through, to escape the cries of the damned?

“Guiding Lights” is a demo for the upcoming game “Nine Circles of Hell”, which consists of a series of puzzles the player has to solve, to eventually escape all nine circles. “Guiding Lights” takes place in the first circle, also known as “Limbo”.

As you get closer and closer to salvation, the journey becomes more and more harrowing.

With limited vision, you must use your hearing to avoid dangers and stay on the path towards the light.

Monochromatic art style
Inspired by the classical works of Gustave Dore, the game is in black and white to emphasize the contrast between light and darkness.

Inspired by historical fiction
The story is loosely based on the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri, visualizing the nine circles of hell.
